While we have unusual problems today, such as reckless driving, damaging public and private property, keeping ones premises in good condition, the Minutes of July 5, 1899, reflect some of the problems which the Town had at that time, wherein the Mayor appointed a committee to go with the Marshal and to examine the privies throughout the Town and also to employ help to drive up hogs at night. So, we think we have problems today, but I doubt very seriously if any of our Councilmen or the City Attorney would want to serve on a similar committee
