Measure 4, a smoke-free ballot initiative in North Dakota supported by ACS CAN, passed yesterday 66.66% to 33.34%. The measure approved Tuesday puts into place a comprehensive law prohibiting indoor smoking in places not protected under current state statute, including bars, motels, private nursing homes, cabs and public transportation.
